Three of our most popular artists, Michael Bowman, Ashton Chadwick and David Morgan took a leisurely boat ride along the picturesque river Dart – chatting, eating, drinking, drawing and stopping for exploration and inspiration along the way.
Each artist has a distinct and recognisable style, thus their interpretation of the same subject makes for an enjoyable exhibition.
From David's bold, sculptural oils to Ashton's intimate observations and Michael's beautiful capture of light, the three have done a superb job of painting our beautiful river. The show will appeal to sailors and landlubbers alike. Similarly, it will be of interest to anyone who lives in the South Hams and also to those who visit and know its picturesque scenery.
