Last year, the three artists took a leisurely boat ride up and down the River Dart, chatting, idling and painting the beautiful surroundings. The exhibition, Three Men in a Boat was a resounding success. Why not regroup for another outing? This time with a wider brief, from Moor to Sea.
 
The trio of styles gel perfectly. David Morgan’s vibrant oils capture the rugged beauty of the wide open Devon spaces, while Ashton Chadwick’s depiction of the same surroundings narrows in upon the intimacy of a particular human moment. Michael Bowman paints the tranquil beauty of the rich settings in accomplished style.

Each artist discovered more than they expected on the Dart. With more expansive horizons, so the artists have further stretched themselves and returned with even more impressive paintings.
