Jane Mills studied Graphic Design at Twickenham College of Art in the 1960s and furthered her education by studying with Emily Whitby, one of the founding members of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen.
Jane was a member of the Guild herself for 18 years, and has participated in many exhibitions, as well as exhibiting in over 40 galleries in the UK and abroad.
Jane's work has an unearthed and excavated feel that is indicative of influences from ancient civilisations. Other inspirations include Art Deco and Art Nouveau. Ideas tend to evolve in the making process where her simple designs allow the silver to speak for itself.
