Gabriel Langlands has always travelled and painted. He spent several seasons in Norway working in fish stations and as a deck hand on trawlers in the Barents Sea before returning to England in 2004 to learn timber framing. He still teaches carpentry part-time but now devotes most of his time to painting.  

Gabriel has shown work at Glyndebourne in their Fair Ground exhibitions on several occasions, and has also exhibited with Moncrieff-Bray Gallery and The Table Gallery in Hay-on-Wye. Gabriel lives in Hampshire with his partner and three children.
